Oral Interpretation 1, 2, 3, 4
Recommended Grade Level:
Oral Interpretation is the love-child of Theatre Arts and Public Speaking. it incorporates students' love of the stage with competitive speaking.
In Oral Interp, students choose various published works of literature (nonfiction, fiction, plays, etc.) in order to perform the text. The most successful students internalize the material through careful analysis and then direct and star in the live performances of their selected pieces. Students have the option to work alone or in pairs since there are multiple options for competition.
The class environment is electric and fun!
